Summary in plain words: TryStyle needs an account (email + password) so that
your credits and purchases are safe. When you create a try-on, your photo is sent securely to our
server and then to OpenAI's image service to generate the result — we do not keep
your photos on our servers afterwards. The Android app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Purchases
go through Google Play (Android) or Apple (iOS). We never sell your data and we run no separate
analytics trackers.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains what information the TryStyle - AI Outfit Try On mobile
application ("the App", available for Android and iOS) collects, why, and what your choices are.
It applies to both the Android and the iOS version of the App.
2. Account information
Creating an account is required to use the try-on features, so that your purchased credits and
membership are protected and can be restored. You sign in with an email address and
password, and email verification is required before generating try-ons.
What we store about your account: your email address, a user ID, the
profile details you choose to add, your credit balance and membership status, and records of
your purchases.
Where it is stored: Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore
databases, hosted on Amazon Web Services (Mumbai, India region).
We do not ask for your phone number, contacts, or precise location.
3. Photos and AI generation
When you use a try-on feature, the photo you select is uploaded over an encrypted
connection (HTTPS) to our server.
Our server sends the photo to OpenAI's image models (the gpt-image
service) together with the outfit description, and the generated result is returned to your
device.
We do not keep your original photos or your generated images on our servers.
They are processed in memory during your request and are not copied to a database or storage
bucket by us.
OpenAI processes your photo in order to generate the result and handles that data under
OpenAI's own terms — see
OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Generated images and anything you save or share stay on your device (photo gallery, share
sheet). You control them and can delete them at any time.
We do not create facial-recognition templates, biometric identifiers, or face databases,
and we do not use your photos to train AI models.
4. Product link scanning
If you paste a shopping website link, our server fetches that public web page to find the
product photo. Only the link you paste and the images from that page are processed, in memory,
for this purpose. Nothing about your identity is attached to such requests.
5. Purchases
Android: credit packs and VIP membership are bought through
Google Play Billing. Our server verifies each purchase with the Google Play
Developer API and stores the transaction identifier and your entitlement (credits/membership)
so purchases can be restored. Google handles your payment details; they are never visible to
us.
iOS: purchases are processed by Apple In-App Purchase.
Apple handles your payment details; we receive only the purchase result and entitlement.
6. Advertising
The Android app displays ads (app-open and interstitial ads) served by
Google AdMob. Ad partners may collect your advertising ID, device
information, approximate (coarse) location derived from IP, and ad interaction data — see
How Google uses information
from apps that use its services. Ad-free access is available through VIP membership.
On iOS, if personalized advertising is used, the App will first ask for
your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you
decline, you will still see ads, but they are non-personalized.
7. Information kept on your device
Your session, cached credit count, language, theme, saved images, and app settings are stored
on your device. You can clear local app data from the App's settings menu, and uninstalling the
App removes all locally stored data.
8. Notifications
The App can show local notifications (for example, about your try-ons or offers). These are
generated on your device; we do not send push notifications and do not collect anything through
them. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
9. What we never do
We never sell or rent your personal information.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs beyond the advertising service
described above.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, health data, or browsing history.
10. Server logs and security
Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) automatically keeps short-lived technical request
logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and abuse prevention. All data in transit
is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Account passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are
never visible to us. We keep access to our systems limited to what is necessary.
11. How long we keep data
Photos: not retained on our servers (processed in memory only).
Account data: kept while your account exists; deleted when you request
account deletion.
Purchase records: kept as long as needed for entitlement restoration and
accounting/legal obligations.
Server logs: kept only for a short security window by our hosting
provider.
12. Your rights and choices
Account deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated
server data at any time by emailing stechinnovators@gmail.com from your account's
email address. We complete verified requests within 30 days. Uninstalling the App alone does
not delete your server account — please email us.
EEA / UK (GDPR): you may ask for access, correction, deletion,
restriction, portability, or object to processing. Legal bases: performance of a contract
(account, credits, purchases), consent (advertising personalization), and legitimate
interests (security, fraud prevention).
India (DPDP Act 2023): you may access, correct, or erase your data and
register a grievance by emailing us.
Ad choices: reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in
your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking and
Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising).
13. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has created an account or submitted a photo,
contact us and we will delete the account and associated data.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an
updated effective date, and material changes will be highlighted in the App.
